hi
ive snapped my timing belt and just rebuilt the top end but does anyone know what postion the pistons are ment to be in when sorting the timing out

ive tried pegging it but there are quite a few holes

1st hole is piston 1+4 top
2nd hole is 1+2+3+4 dead centre
3rd hole is 2+3 top

thanks

theres only 1 hole that the pin for the flywheel will go in

when while you have the head of piston number 1 (nearest the flywheel) should be top dead centre and the timing hole should line up at that point. theres countless threads on this. invest in a haynes also
