the other week me and the girlfriend went to haggerson castle for an over night on the way down however there (about 2miles from haggerson)this massive pigeon was on the road so i kept going assuming it would move just in time (doing about 70ish)and did it move HELL NO it jumped to fly at the last minute and connected with my wing mirror passenger side and knocked the mirror out but was still hanging from the wiring i was lucky though i popped the mirror back in and continued on my journey mirror-1 pigeon-0

I have never hit an animal driving... I would rather stack my car in a ditch than hit anything.... Pidgeons don't have superb vision, so there reaction times are alot slower at long distances.... if you had slowed down you would not have hit it!... I might come and pull your wing mirror of properly since my suicide bird squad didn't succeed first time round

I hit a pheasant a few months back. It was fookin huge. Left guts all over my bonnet.

It was at the side of the road for days lol. Just wondered out in front of me. Stupid bird deserved to snuff it!

i was driving down a main road in town and a pidgeon was sat in the road was doing 25 mph and it didnt move so had to lock up,werent having that over the car,everyone looked and it was a bit embarassing.lol

To be honest, I could say that if you had been concentrating on not harming the helpless wildlife then you would not have damaged the wing mirror.... and if you'd have slowed down then the mirror may still be intact and the pidgeon may actually be alive.... I hope one shits on the car of everyone who thinks this callous act is as cool as the "thumbs up" in the title suggests

we were behind a van on the ring road... and.. as those little birds like to do.. one dived under the van.. but didnt make it..

the van got it with the back wheel, was fucking funny.. cos it swelled up at its arse.. then POP!!!!! hehehehe

the only problem i would have with running pigeons over would b the mess on the car..

i hit a bird in my old astra, top left of windscreen, just left a big wet mark on it. dont think i killed it, was more of bird hit me as i was only doin 20-25mph
