Had this issue for a while on my mk2 VTR but its just getting irritating now and I want it sorting! It sounds like something is creaking from the passenger side when setting off/at low speeds. My first thought was something to do with the suspension and ive heard before about tightening up those two bolts in the footwell so today i had a quick look. The right one is tight as can be however the left one doesnt seem to tighten fully. Do these need to be tightened fully? Could this be causing the creaking?
I also thought it may have something to do with the clutch/gearbox since the creaking heard when setting off sometimes however ive got now clue if gearbox's make creaking noises when they are on their way out...
Any help much appreciated :y:

That just sounds like you need a replacement back axle haha, I had mine done a year or so ago at IM Axle. My issue is coming from the front passenger side, anyone else got any advice?

Ive still not solved it yet although it seems to come and go, not really made much noise this week... Just want to know if there's a chance the noise may be coming from the gearbox, are there any tell tale signs to look out for with clutch/gearbox issues?
If so i'll have to source out a new box which might take some time..
