Airbag light problem

The airbag light stays on all the time when the car is running i know its a fault with the wires under the drivers seat so i had a look and there is two orange wires connected to half of a block connector coming from the seat and two orange wires connected together with some insulation tape under a flap in the carpet. So i'm wondering what i will need to do to from here to correct the airbag light. Help will be appreciated :D thanks!

When i got the saxo, it got booked in to get the light reset. All i did was unplug both connectors under the seats and it worked

You checked under your passenger seat too?

Mine had a dodgy connection under the seat so cut the cable back and soldered on new cabling that sorted mine out,

Have the seats been changed at some point? Aftermarket steering wheel and any point?

I haven't checked under the passenger seat because i thought it was only under the drivers side :D ill check that next.

The seats and steering wheel are all standard :y:

Yeah there's one under the passenger seat to tends to be the one that gets damaged because of people climbing in and out of he back all the time,

All is fine now the light comes on when starting up and goes off again :) i had the pull the wires right out from under the carpet and it revealed the other half of a block connector so i just connected it to the one coming from the seat, it was the same story for the passenger side too.
