technically anything obstructing your view through the windscreen is technically an mot failure. if you end up with a knob of an mot'r they can fail your car if you leave a sat nav mount on your windscreen technically.

1st iv heard of this, iv always had something dangling from my mirror and NEVER been failed or advised about it
