hi all

have just brought my first car a lovely 1999 Citroen Saxo 1.1X with 80,000 miles

i work at a garage and its blew the head gasket good and proper lol

ive decided to start the work on it
- rebuild the head, re-lap the valves
- valve stem seals
- cambelt kit
- water pump

just to make sure its completely perfect for starting my mods

it has the 3 stud wheels on it and im not too keen on them to be honest lol
i am planning the put new 4 stud drums on the rear and change the front hubs for brand new 4 stud hubs pressed in the original hub carrier, anyone done this before?

any other suggestions for converting it?

Cheers

Have stripped the head off, in the process of cleaning the block out and re-building the head : )

Well hello there! I would like to welcome you to the forum though I am new here as well. It is funny how there are just some people who are not familiar with the inner workings of a car and a couple of days back, my dad's boss actually sold a car which he said isn't totally running for just 300dollars. And while we were never really unsuspecting of it, we bough it thinking that we could use a couple of its parts for our own project. Low and behold, the fuel gauge was just faulty.
