Hi,

This may sound confussing but if your no the answer you will know the question im asking without no confusing

When removing the standard headunit for a sony one you have to change the power wires so that your headunit (sony) doesnt lose the settings.

Once putting the standard one back in, iv noticed that you done need the ignition on to power the unit nor does the lighting work onit like it does as standard controlled from the headlights.

Heres the questions. If i was to reswap the cables back to factory settings (swap the change back over) will this resolve the lighting and power of the unit.

Im saying yes. Has anyone every tried this or no if thats right.

Reason i ask this is becuase when i put a standard one back into the furio i had the same problem and never swap the over becuase the car was sold.

So anyone done this or know :D

Cheers in advance

provided it goes back the same as it originally came out then yeah it'll light up when the headlights fire up i reckon :)

it's just an extra cable that provided the feed for that as i remember it

which cable tho?

I mean when i put the sony in i had to chop the wire and swap them over. So just reverse the moves?

So could it be an issue with the unit?
