New floor carpet idea?

Hey everyone. Just been thinking about my car and how I want to change the floor carpet. It is really disgusting to look at. I know about the Gti carpets, but cannot see one in the colour green which is what I want.

The idea I have come up with is to just 'spray' the original carpet to the desired colour. Now whilst this would be saving a bit of money (although not really) my only concern is that it would look tacky as anything.

I have searched to see if anything came up, and nothing did, just the roof lining guide. I did think about that method for the floor but thought that wouldn't work half as well tbh.

I'm looking for opinions. Thank You. Sorry for the read.

You cant really "Retrim" or "paint" the floor carpet

If you paint it, it will wear out everytime some one sits in the car

If you retrim it, the new material will just peel up and look a right mess every time some one sits in the car

I think your best option is to get some Custom floor matts made really.....

could u not bleach it then dye it green.

This ^^, im sure this would be a good idea but not die, fabric paint think its called simple spray or something

if you went to dye the black carpet wont it be really dark?
