After a new daily car and after an A4, I was on auto trader and noticed this:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201209453388325/sort/priceasc/usedcars/transmission/manual/price-to/8000/fuel-type/diesel/maximum-age/up_to_7_years_old/model/a4/make/audi/postcode/b711bu/radius/1501/page/3?logcode=p

It's more then half it's value price but seems legit? :panic:

Seems ok, probably worth viewing it in person though.

Maybe a typo?

I was thinking more like finance owing.

Defo not a typo, says in the description £5000

Going to give them a ring tomorow for a viewing, only 40miles away.

Don't bother with it, doesn't seem legit tbh, finance owed on it would explain why they tried to hide the reg plates

Singh is it located in Birmingham, if so where abouts?

HPi checks generally are useless unless you actually check the car over properly. theres a large number of cloned Audi's about at the moment, by all means get a HPi check but be sure to check the stamped in chassis number matches (one in the windscreen and the 3rd one whether it be sticker or riveted metal plate) are piss easy to copy. Do not be satisfied until you've checked that the stamped in one hasn't been tampered with.

Also check engine number matches.

At such a cheap knockdown price I'd definitely expect either finance outstanding or that it's a stolen & cloned vehicle.

It's a scam email address, as previously said in the thread. What else actually needs to be said? It's obviously a load of shit, anyone who can't spot that straight off needs their head checking.
