i have a 1.1 desire ,,,i have clunking on the front end i,ve changed top strut mounts, both wish bones, ball joints, track rod ends and gearbox mount,,,and it still sounds like some things going to fall off,,,,any ideas...ps passenger brake some times locks up..:wall:

Damper caps seem fine when i changed strut mounts put new pasenger drive shaft when i changed gear box...how do u tell if anti roll bar bushes are gone

You can see them, easy to pop off the arb if you undo the droplinks. either top or bottom.

i cracked,,,,the misses found a new noise sounds like i,m dragging some thing tinny,,,,so its booked in for mot tomorrow 2 months early .....let you know results ttomorrow...thanks

Its officall i have a clunky car..faild on two tyres was told its a good little car..hhhhaaaaaahhhhh

I never expected them to tell you what the problem was from having an MOT done. But, at least you have the peace of mind its safe enough to drive.
Top mount bearings been changed?
When exactly does this clonking occur?
