Will a gearbox from 1.1 saxo 2001, fit my saxo 1.1 eastcoast 1999?

Hey guys!
I have an urgent question.
My 2nd gear has gone / pops out of gear now ...
Its going to need a new gearbox :/

Would a gearbox for another saxo from the year 2001 (same litre engine 1.1)
fit my saxo year 1999 1.1 litre?

I cannot retrieve the chassis code from the 2001 vehicle
