Theres a tremendous suicide rate at the bridge near to me (Erskine Bridge). One of my dads mates used to stay in Old Kilpatrick, the wee village below it, and he sold his house and moved away cos he had two or 3 jumpers land in his back garden in about 18months.

agreed, if you are going to slit your wrists with the intention of killing yourself you would do it properly, lying in a hot bath to keep the blood flowing, less chance of clotting and then get off your face on drink or drugs so you are unable to summon help/stop once you have made the cuts, and of course you have to make the right cuts....
The majority of people who cut their wrists do so for self harm purposes not sucidal purposes as its not the most pleasant of ways to kill yourself...
