Getting a little tired of Apple replacing their products yearly now.
Unless you buy near release you're never far away from the next 'best version of your i-product yet'.

Anyone buying one?
Someone offered me £400 for my iPad too so i snapped their hands off! Especially since its now £420 new because they dropped price.
5 more days without an iPad is killing me. Didn't realise it would become such a handy part of life for me when on the go

Yet to find a person that has called the iPad 2 Display poor, so I see no need to buy one with a retina display!
All the other new features dont interest me (Camera, Voice Dictation) and since LTE won't work in this country even when we get some working networks (Orange reckons end of 2012 for theirs).
Will wait for some LTE and see what Windows 8's like on a Tablet before I go and buy my next one...

I don't think the iPad2 screen was poor, but its like between normal tv and hd tv. You think normal is great until you see something better.
Are they doing a 5pm release time again anyone know?

I agree, but fookin hell she does get quite warm you not think?
I put a few episodes of CSI on to watch while at work and was really impressed.
Other than that don't think I've noticed much else differed. That voice thing great but can't see me using that mucho

Apparently it can only be charged with the charger it comes with, so don't use your other apple usb's on it because they won't charge it. It will say its charging on the screen but won't actually deliver the right power. Just letting you know incase anyone gets any charging issues :)

I plugged it into my monitor USB and it didn't charge it (Said not charging) but my normal iPhone one seems to charge it, well it's percentage goes up

I've just gone from a iPad 1 to a iPad 3 and the difference is hugely different, I didn't bother getting the 4g model as I didn't see the point since we're still on basic 3G and will be till next year, maybe when the new ones out at the end of the year...

What would everyone recommend for buying an iPad at the moment iPad 3 or 2?
is the screen worth the extra money?
what else makes it better as I haven't heard of any apps making use of the 'quad core' graphics yet?
