To be honest, unless you get something like a 1ltr Mini, most things will feel quicker than a 1.1/1.2- just take good care of it and keep us posted on any mods you do :y:

I was crawling round in a 1.4 Pug 207 courtesy car for 2 months before getting my vts! It felt like it was rocket propelled first time I drove it. :homme:

to the OP, when I got a vtr i thought it was a million times quicker than my 1.1, then I got a VTS and realised that was a lot quicker than both.

still think the VTS engine is one of the best for a B road blast, not quick, but more than adequate for the a spirited drive, and fun when it's above 5k revs :D

The car before my vtr was horrifically slow. It was nice to be able to pull out of a junction without having to check 2 miles up the road first. Enjoy it. Have you got any plans for it?

But on paper while there is a difference you wouldn't think it was absolutely massive as the S5 is by no means slow. I think he means the difference is surprising.
