Refurb the tsw's, or sell and get some vtr/s wheels. Lower it, get some Mk1 tail lights, don't know what else really, depends on budget and how handy with tools you are.

Don't kit it unless you have an engine swap planned, lower it 40mm if you dont want it slammed, de-wiper rear, Pressed plates, window tints, mesh/debadge the grill, h.i.d's. Full 'zorst system, induction, de-cat, tbh its whatever you want to do to it, you're the one that has to drive it, so whatever takes your fancy mate.

Could debadge it, mesh the grill and that kinda stuff. It's all about trying to make it your own. Also beesting aerial, new audio etc. :D

Somthing I did last night was actually carbon wrapping the A+B pillars and the sunroof console, looks really well (Only reason I didnt wrap the C pillars was because I couldnt be arsed removing the rear quarters) would put up a picture but would need to take one.

-awaiting hate for using carbon wrap-

what are you talking about removing quarters? the c pillar is held in by rear window seal, boot seal and the upper seatbelt bolt

Interior styling? GTI leathers or buckets with back strip out? Good audio system and a few stickers :p
