Took a 300 mile round trip up to wales today to finally get my new car...had a deposit down on this for a few weeks now but only just got the money together on Friday.
2000 Sundance Yellow GTI on 82k
15" OZ Superlegerras
MR Rear lights
Bilstein rear dampers, fronts came with car but need fitting
306 GTI-6 brakes
Raceland 4-2-1 manifold
Pugsport 3" system
Powerflex lower engine mount
OBP Quickshift
Very happy with it tbh, drivers a lot smoother than my old saxo and the paintwork is spot on. Had some fun on the way back through all the country roads in wales, few little problems but nothing too expensive to sort out. Not really had a chance to clean it/take any proper pics yet but took a couple throughout the day. Will get some better ones tomorrow but these will have to do for now
Filling up in wales straight after picking up with my mates bizi

Rolling shot on the M5, mate got a couple of these before we got bored and decided to drive like dicks instead, as you do

I know this car very well;) my mate who you bought it off really looked after it and my other mate owned it before him so know the history of it:) i know that garage where you filled up to as i live not far from there:P had a bodied s lump in the owner/mate you bought it off before, then put a lower miles 16v lump which is in there now:) one think i'd say wheels need to be anthracite or gloss black.

Yeah he said something about that, what's up with your bumper? Seems to be pretty mint?
Btw, If you want to save yourself the respray costs on the alloys, I have a set of Ultraleggera alloys in Anthracite for sale with T1R's on :y:

Nothing wrong with mine but i was gonna get my bump strips colour coded at some point anyway so it makes sense to just buy your bumper with it already done then just get the back ones done at a bodyshop
Could be interested depending on price and how much i could get for mine! Inbox me what your after mate

Oh right, I take it you know of Viking Resprays for cheap bodywork? :y: Worth taking it over there if its only little bits.
You can get quite a lot for your alloys, depending on tyres as well. If they are in mint condition, they sell for £250-300 without tyres! They weigh in at 4.9kg per alloys, the lightest alloy you can get for a Saxo/106 before spending shit loads of money tbh.

Did a few little bits today, my new boot lock badge came so fitted that, the old one had all worn off so it looked pretty shit from the back. Also got rid of the rear wiper and sprayed the pug badge in the bonnet black, then gave the car a wash + polish. Then it pissed it down. Oh and its now been booked into the body shop to have the bump strips colour coded.
De-wipered + new badge

Car is currently in my stepdad's body shop to have the boot lid + rear bumper repaired, and also the bump strips colour coded. Went up there this morning to help out, took some pics along the way. Just waiting for it to harden now then it can be flatted + polished.

Who sprayed that mate? The masking is shite. Finish looks good though but your going to have over spray under every panel edge.

Step dad sprayed it, i masked haha, it will only be the boot lid which will have over spray which was filthy so the paint should just polish off. Bumper is being replaced anyway so i wasnt really arsed about masking that properly.

Not updated this for a while now so got a few pics from over the last few months. Not a lot has changed really, apart from i went and px'd my Pugsport for an OMP Inox. No pics but believe me it is fucking LOUD. It has also just come out from the garage after having one of the front wheel bearings replaced as well as 4 new T1R's and balancing + alignment.
Replaced my rear brake pads and disks a few weeks ago, this is what i took off. Would pass an MOT for sure...

Finally got my wheels done! then spent today cleaning the car ready for tomorrow. Was planning to machine polish the whole car but it kept raining on and off so i didnt bother, just did the boot lid as it didnt get done at the bodyshop due to me needing the car back ASAP. Still quite pleased with the finish anyway, method was:
Rinse
Wash with Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II
Dry with megs water magnet
Iron X paste on a few spots on the bumper + rear quarter
Clayed with G3 clay + DoDo Juice born slippy
Machine polished boot lid with Menzerna PO85RD on Sonus SFX-2 pad then refine with PO106FA on an SFX3
Whole car waxed with DoDo Juice Banana Armour
Cleaned wheels with G101
Megs endurance tyre gel for the tyres
Cleaned the Inox with wire wool + G101 then polished with Autosol
Could have got it looking much nicer if i had machine polished the whole car but couldnt be arsed with the weather the way it was. Only a few pics but if you want to see it properly then ill be on the 106 owners stand tomorrow!
