Right Guys question

Got some 17" rims coming from ebay and im getting my car lowered next weekend, when even the springs come through.

I live on a quite steep hill, so when i park the rear goes down as it would with any car.

BUT if i put 17" on and lowered will it restrict me from parking on the hill??

Just curious into what makes you think 17" wheels will stop you from parking on a hill?

well ive had 13" on since i bought it... and when i park the arch is about 2" away from hitting the tyre.

I would'nt worry too much about parking on a hill causing any problems coz theyll probably be scraping all the way down the road on the rear arches anyway lol besides looking like a cart

15 on 45 profile or 16 on 40 profile, even then it will probs scrub on a 1.1

upto you really....the wheels in the pic I posted are 16", 16s on 40 profile are like a few mm bigger than 15s on 45 so if you want abit bigger then....

15's or 16's should be good, but i think the reason most people go for 15's is the price difference in tyres. for 15's your looking at 35-45 quid a corner for budget tyres and 16's you won't get for much less than 80 quid a corner which is why I downgraded from 16's to 15's and actually prefer the look of them anyway

40 if you dont want to smash off your arches..

the lower the better, 60 looks about perfect but will destroy your car.

kennym1987

Well I'm getting new alloys regardless might as well get 15" then won't have to lower until I need to

best option :y: in that pic of my car, those wheels came off shortly after and some 15s went on
