hi there looking forward to speaking to some of you, am new to saxo's but am a mechanic. got 1.4 west coast and just about to put vtr lump in any advice will be much appreciated :y: this forum has helped massivly already :clapping: thanks shane

hey welcome to the forum :D ive ask that question many time bout putting a vtr engine and by the sounds of it, its a straight swap :D just need an unlocked ecu! what plans have you got for the saxo apart from vtr engine! and i see your local to me to :D

lots of plans.. uprating suspension not just lowered on springs as it is at the moment dont want to go over the top with it had 17''konig tantrums (any 1 interested??) on it but have replaced these with 15'' black alloys. will try post couple pics soon :y: any ideas on things to change/uprate that should be high priority??:drink:

great plans mate, i would say go for suspension, brakes, engine and interior and exterior mods! in that order :) i9 say this as i wouldnt want to do lots to the engine and have shit brakes and suspension while driving it!

Stick to 15" of below alloys, any bigger looks stupid and avoid most 'modifications' sold at Halfords.

thanks was thinking that sort of order and yh wil avoid the halfords magnet affect :) will Def try post some pics 2nyt as some of you may recognise the car as bought it slightly modded from local area.

i like it mate! would love that bonnet ;) and yh cars all running! on some 17" wheels so will have to sort that out!!!

yh bonnet is pretty nice carbon effect fading in centre a lil tho. and thats kl then mate :y: have got a crashed mango which ive got the vtr lump from :fcuk: few bits remaining if any1 after spares. you go many meets or is there much local cruise/meets?? :P

i do not have a pink card yet! still doing lesson! and how much for the vtr engine with all the bits (altenator, inlet etc) but doesnt have to have gearbox :) i do know of a few meets/cruises and have been to many! ill let you know when the next is :)

i no what you mean insurance is a joke mate just need get 1st couple yrs under your belt then start the tuning lol
