yea very possible that there is a build up of crap in the runners. try and see where it is sticking and try and get some wd40 in there.

as said, most likely a coin though mate. happened to me. turned out to be a coin :) easy fix

Mine's like that. I've pulled out £1.90 and it still won't budge. I'm going to have to take it out i think.

Spray wd40 on the runners,sit in the seat pull the bar up underneath & use all your weight to try & move it.
