I've just had an urge to pull the trigger on a performance monitor so I treated myself.

It's really easy to swap between vehicles, so would be cool to get some stats from one car to the next at a meet somewhere. Sure there's some fun to be had with this. It's very accurate indeed, so we can run some real side-by-side comparisons.

Dunno where the meet would be, but would obviously have to NOT be McD's carpark as you're testing laterial G's, 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile, 60-0, all sorts, but I was thinking of something like brunters or something this year anyway.

What do you guys think to the idea? Just putting it out there. :)

That a ap22? Was looking at those. Good kit :) Might have settled for one of those if I'd have known you had that!

Ax22 has the gps and a card reader so can do multiple runs etc - but for £100 someone wouldn't go wrong with that.

Yeah mine was a treat for myself - is a bit expensive i grant you mind. I've got the race technology dash2 and dl1 data logger so I'm going for the whole collection - their stuff is amazing. They even do free training days for their data logger owners to learn how to get the best put of the tools.

I've contacted a few organisations to try and sort a venue today, I'm just awaiting feedback on those. I would take a stab in the dark and say budget about £100 per person if we can get 10+ people together for a half day of testing. I suspect venue hire is going to run to about a grand or so, but as I say, I'm still in the research phase.
