How to get the most when scrapping a car??

Hi guys, I have an old punto that I am going to scrap along with some pretty torn up alloys. Just wondering how I would go about getting the most money for everything?

Would i remove the cat etc..?

fill the fuel tank up with water

Remove the Cat, weigh it in separately.

yeah. I always fill the tank with grit or similar, water if you are doing it through the petrol cap.

if it has an interior soak it with water, get a hosepipe in there, make the seats and carpet soaking.

remove cat as said. spare wheels, break bead and fill with water if you can be bothered.

Garage freezer's are pretty big.. possible.

i used to keep bird of prey and had big walk in freezer full with day old chick's for food so i just thought ...maybe it might work

or just go to a local garage and get brake discs and chuck in the spare wheel well, thats what my bro does and fill the boot with general metals so they dont notice the wheel spare wheel well full of dead weight.
