best way of knowing your bearings or axles bahuggered?

rear axle - jack up the car and try to shake the trailing arm back and forth if its gone you will feel it moving and probably knocking. Wheel bearings - jack up the suspected wheel and put your hands at 12&6 and try to wobble the wheel.. hope that helps :y:

Park it on level ground and have a look from the back if you axle is badly worn then the wheels will be leaning in at the top and they could be rubbing on the inner arch
But if its wheel bearing jack it up and give it a spin
