Hi all,

Just a polite message and to introduce myself to saxperience, I primarily joined to purchase a vts for trackday use with a budget of around £1000 for my first car.
I,ve owned a few cars over the years including 309 gti, 205 xs, nova Sri, Clio 172, and astra vxr pics uploaded soon.
Looking forward to posting lots of messages along the lines of how do you ......... ?

I'm only from Dudley too so not far away..

So what's planned for this trackday car?

Not sure yet the car i bought today needs a little work 78,000 2 owners both sisters its been chipped no recipts though, pipercross induction kit, lowered about 60mm, full leather.
gear box felt sloppy could be linkage though ? engine running very rich probably due to chip which i will get put back to standard but thinking of putting some cams in, roll cage sort the suspension properly etc loads to do i feel.

Not at all funny thing is i was in serious conversation with my partners brother on the friday before the show having just ordered a new astra from my local vauxhall and said i really need a toy again to play with on weekends or trackdays and had started adding cars to my ebay watchlist and could not believe how cheap vts's were and said thats it i want one of those only to find old fuzz head clarkson and he chums bloody advertising them on sunday and low and behold prices went up monday moring bloody sods !

O well sorted mine will upload pictures next weekend hopefully.

Same here, I'm just down the A449 in penn, wolvo. Loving the 309 gti, how rare are they these days :(

Extremely and to be honest a better balanced car than the 205 always wanted a goodwood 309 gti i bet there are even fewer of them.

Looks alright.

My VTS didnt come with Leathers and its a late 2003 VTS (sept) sure they arnt "custom"? hence being rare.

Not sure tbh but all the door cards and rears are in leather aswell ? even if it was custom it aint a bad job although it needs a little repair work which i'm going to get sorted.
