where is the immobiliser box so i can take it off, obv whilst engine is running. Unlocked ecu and all that jazz, but underneath the passenger glove box i cant see any obvious box. I removed the fuse panel on the passenger side and i can see a wide 16pin connector that is empty. Has it already been removed from there then? The immobiliser light is flashing constantly, but cos i got a standalone ecu it still starts and runs etc. And help would be appreciated because the haynes manual basically cuts out any immobiliser tips incase criminals use it :/ thanks

yeah this is what i saw, but i thought it was a relay, and obviously didnt want to start unplugging things without making sure. So i can just run the engine, unplug the box and the light should stop flashing?

yeah should do. run engine and unplug. turn engine off, back on and all should be fine mate.
the box is roughly the size of a pack of 20 fags most people say.

yeah it is about that size, which confused me cos other people kept telling me to look for a big box, but there wasnt any. cheers
