So, had this a few months and not got round to starting a thread...here goes

as it stood when i got it
13 years old and 112k on the clock, well looked after, FSH and drives a dream, bargain for just over 500

got it home, but had to live at the other halfs in the garage as the key wouldnt fit the door barrels and couldnt lock it

First jobs were to fix central locking, got new barrels and remote is now working again.

Ive T-cut badges and de-wipered the rear

added sax-p stickers to front and back. (front been removed as it looked stupid!)

Picked up a new drivers door as mine had a huge dent and the central locking solenoid was playing up

Since then vinyl on B pillars has been removed.

Plans:
New Rear Beam... urgently!
New wheels, undecided what to get
Coil-overs for the front as not as low as i'd like
Interior mods (roof lining, A,B,C Pillars)
Tidy up under Engine Bay
Smoke Headlights, Tint Indicators
Paint Front Grill
4-2-1 Mani
Straight Through decat (after MOT)
Cam it

Any other Suggestions?

How did you not spot the rear beam when you went to look at it? When i went to view mine the axel was the first thing i checked over.

Couldn't say no to the price, new beam being collected on Saturday and hopefully fitted next week.
Not looking forward to the back end being in the air for a while though

new beam fitted,
new 60mm springs on the front and 70mm on the rear (cheers mandyslover)
headlight inserts sprayed black
Tint spray for indicators ordered
gromit for rear washer jet waiting to get fitted
some new vibe slick components for the front waiting to be fitted

still undecided on wheels :(

Picking up some s wheels on Saturday, unsure of what colour to do them, white? Black? Any other ideas?

not too sure on my wheels,

not too sure what i would be happier with, getting smaller tyres...or selling up and getting different wheels.

Would be a shame to sell as ive only just painted these... whats peoples opinions?
