I'm about to have my single plug vtr ecu unlocked as immobiliser key on dash and stopping it running , before I put unlocked ecu on the car do I have to take immobiliser box out from under dash first ? Someone let me know asap please as ecu comes tommorow and don't wana plug it in n it not work .

if you leave it in it may lock it again. worth leaving out imo

So if I take box from under dash , and plug in unlocked ecu my car should defo start ? Had a fire in wiring harness on passenger floor re did all wires but immobiliser light on , hope this does trick .

thats only to unlock the current one. if he is fitting a new unlocked ecu that doesnt matter

So no matter what immobiliser parts are plugged in an ecu that's been professionally unlocked at bluehawke will make my car run and there's no way it can become locked again , I've been moddin \ restorin car for 2 years and its seriusly startin to look the dogs but short on money so don't wana loose 85 quid on unlocked ecu for it to go wrong , your help is much appreciated guys and making me think of becoming premium member .thanks

Leave the immobiliser unplugged when you plug it in
