just found this info on here
Getting a New Key
If you go to a Citroen dealer you will need:
- Registration Document (V5)
- Proof of identity (photocard)
- Proof of address that must match address on the Registration Document
- The key number (see picture below)
What can I do if I don’t have a key number?
You can have your Citroen dealer email Citroen to do a key search from your VIN number on the Registration Document. I was told this costs £15.
How much does it cost?
I had the key number and Citroen quoted:
£34.33 for replacement key (+£15 without key number)
£69.50 for a replacement remote control keyfob
£46.58 for half an hour of labour for programming
all this was found here

hope that helps a bit

Yes it will. Also worth noting is that if your car has had a new lock set since new then the Citroen keys will not work and you still have to pay for them.
Better to get a second hand lock set with ecu and barrels and break in and replce. Will be cheaper and quicker.

dont no how he managed that tbh every car has a seperate key code that the ecu reads , when you buy a car from new you get a card with your key codes on it amongst others you normaly have to go to deaLer and buy the codes for your car then get a key coded with your code .

mine is not a key pad and he simply opened car took a mould from boot lock and used a computer to read imobiliser somehow. i sat and watched him it took about 2 hours though. he was the only 1 who said he could do it without code the other 20-25 people i rang said they would need code. just shows that it can be done.
