right whenever i blitz my car inside and out i am ALWAYS let down by the state of my windows! i use some basic window cleaner from Halfords, smells a bit like vinegar. but it always leaves smears and looks a right state!!
what does everyone else do / use ?

i know im going to get slated now BUT this does work:
are you ready....
Mr Sheen and a towel sort of material, just spray a little Mr Sheen on the cloth once the windows have been washed and then rub down until the smear disapears. Will be ultra clean after that, works on your mirrors too!

get some hot water no soap put some vinegar in it yourself use a polish cloth to wipe off job done

meguairs nxt window cleaner and newspaper. It will leave your windows smear free all the time if you do it right, will require a bit of elbow grease though.

Use any window cleaner and some newspaper... sounds odd but works.. the rough texture does not smear...

news paper by its self works a treat

Yeah I use Auto Glym fast glass aswell, but with a cloth rather than newspaper. I won some Meguiars nxt gen glass cleaner at Kames so I'll give that ago next time I'm cleaning the car and see how they compare.

this newspaper thing is a new to me?
I take it you just use it in stead of a cloth or is it used just to buff the cleaning stuff up?
Are some newspapers better than the others would I be best splashing out on the The daily telegraph or would the daily sport do an equally good job?

Newspaper is very new to me actually! i used kitchen roll before! have to use loads though!! ill give it a bash 2moro maybe as my windows are looking rank! do you all use this on inside and out?

Exterior - JEFFS Werkstatt Prime Strong, buffed with Poorboy's Super Thick n Plush Towels
Interior - Meguiars NXT Glass Cleaner, buffed with Poorboy's Work Towels
Haven't found better products than these, and they haven't let me down yet on customer cars. :)
