Thinking of converting!!!

Hi there, im Mike. Just registered to have a look around and see if i can pic up some good info.

Just developed some engine issues with my A3,so it has to go! Looking around at what options next, and as i only use my car to go to and from work, thought i quite fancy something small and nippy, that also handles well across all the roundabouts in Milton Keynes!

So i thought a Saxo would be just the job. But what do i go for though VTR or VTS?? Going to be keeping it standard, and want something thats generally going to be trouble free.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, and even more so any offers of a decent bargain motor would be great!!!

i would say get an s but to be honest either are great cars. trouble free all depends on if you get a good one you gotta remember they stopped making them nearly 10 years ago now so theres gonna be a few problems along the way

If your only using it really for work and back get the VTR, probably better on fuel(ish)

But no...

Id get the VTS just for the little extra power ;)

Well, I picked up a VTR on Saturday! Made my mind up with the cheaper running costs over the vts, and so far it's not to bad.

Ahhh, the guy that previously owned it had a small knock iirc? Repaired it and sold it fairly cheap just to get rid of it..

Yeah, I seemed to discover that on here after I bought it. Not much I can do about that now though. Only using it as my run about to work and it was fairly cheap.

I randomly saw the pic in his username, then found a progress thread, and it previously had a bump by the looks of It! How bad or if anymore damage I'm not so sure! Where is he to clear it up!

yep, jays old one, i did a load of work on it for him. Also repaired the afore-mentioned knock lol

No not reallly, it is what it is and it seems alright to be honest. And i did buy the car off of Ebay without seeing it.
