I've got a hideous sqeaking from the rear of my car when i go over the slightest of bumps, its doing my head in! i cant find anything it could be. i've took the parcel shelf off incase of that not that checked if my wheels were rubbing the arches, i tried greasing the rear shockers up nothing :/. any idea's?

1 of 2 things.
1. Boot catch might need adjusting.
2. Bearings on the rear axle are on the way out, do you have any camber on the read wheels at all?

3rd brake light make's a very annoying squeek..
Worth a check.

As is the interior plastic trim panel on the boot lid.

Had same problem, was the spare tyre underneith wasnt tight in the cage and would squeak when i went over bumps. Also the tyres would make more of a scrubbing noise on the arches, well it does mine anyways.

I do have a slight camber on the rear, i dear say more so on the side the sqeaking is coming from :/. i know when i have people in the back it is that side that always scrubs the arches, the other side is fine. I'll check the plastics on the boot.
Dont have spare tire, but i still have the rack so that possibly could be it.

About The bearings part? where would i find it on the axle?? i just wacked wd on most of the bolts on the shocks etc made it better but still not gone so :/.

yeah i need a new axle - when i jacked it up and took the wheels off i found that i had just shreded a new tire :@ canvas was showing, the squeak was infact the tire rubbing of the axle/arches.
