Alright everyone! Got my car at the weekend! Was messy on the outside and in so spent 6hrs sunday cleaning her and looks alot better but needs another clean! Here she is:

cheers! i forgot i t-cut the rear badges today aswell will get some pictures tomorow, Thinking of tinting rear and front lights and maybe meshing the grill, want to get some black vtr alloys or maybe some vts, would they fit okay? cheers! :zainy:

So heres abit of an update i spose!

Did the interior lights:

and put some new fog bulbs in:

On the way in the post are some components for the doors which will eventually be amped up! Other than that A new plate for the front, a saxp sticker, smoke the indicators and thats me done on this! not going ott as id rather save the money for a vtr or peggy gti after i finish uni :drink:

Havnt really done much to her, the comps are in and sound good would be better with a decent cd player but funds dont allow it! In the post are a few stickers, some white sidelight bulbs and some tinted indicators also while at work today i had a thought, what do people reckon about white steelies? as getting vtr alloys around here is a pain in the arse and i want them with decent tyres already on as mine are on the way out! so yeh thinking about spraying the steelies white to be abit different if anyone could do a photoshop of my car with white steelies would be great! anyway here are a few pics i took when it was sunny on the way back from work!

My Indicators arrived today! looking good i have to say:

And ive just been out with my mates and took some pics as my new sidelight bulbs came, Slightly blue meant to be white but they look lush :geek:
If you were wondering what the other cars are, theyre peggy 206 sport 1.1, Polo 1.2 haha slightly posher cars than the saxo and we are all part the 1 litre club :zainy:

Been meaning to do this for weeks as had some matt black spray paint laying around so i sprayed the chevrons black

No no no no to the steelies mate, especially in white. I reckon if you want steelies to work, firstly choose another colour and lower it. Some slammed saxo/cars look sick on steelies! Other than that stick to vtr alloys or other aftermarket ones if i were you.

haha cheers for the thoughts, really un-decided on what to do as i dont like vtr alloys tbh as everyone has them on flatties! and i dont have enough money to get some lush alloys atm :/ might just respray the steelies tbh maybe in dark metalic grey or something! ahhh it looks sick slammed so want to get it done haha

I love my air freshener and i love my team! Next on the to do list is put on the induction kit, spray the inside of the headlights, maybe spray rear lights, and leave :) Might be going to Ultimate street car with a few mates so probs do the DWYB there which'll be a laff!

Will be slamming it in june next year, off to uni in 2 weeks so she's being sorned till then! Will be doing inserts for lights and getting vts alloys and a backbox through the winter while shes off road.

Anyway as said before shes been sorned until summer when im back from uni, Then when its on the road, may consider lowering 50/60mm on the rear, need opinions!
So for christmas; my girlfriends parents bought me these:

Real nice pair, and have HiDs attached to them in all, cant wait to fit them :p then the flattie should then start looking quite smart! :cool:

alright everyone!
massive update, plenty of pics and stuff.

So gonna rewind back to september, sorned the car, went to uni, the car needed at the time: a new back box, 2 new tires and a new handle for the passenger side door (the old handle randomly came off in my hand after a few week of owning it) So the car sat there, ticked it over a few times over this shocker of a winter and kept it alive.

Then comes march. The car died, didnt want to tick over. nothing. Traced it to the battery as it couldnt keep charge. Replaced the battery with a 2nd hand new-ish one, still wouldnt tick over. Had a look at the alternator and it had completely seized, wouldnt move at all, so replaced the alternator with a new one. Put on a second hand back box of another desire and took it to have its MOT, knowing it would fail on the tires. It failed on the tires only, so 2 new shoes and she passed her MOT :y:

Got them to check the brakes over, as they had collected alot of crap, while doing this, they left the lower radiator hose unclipped, leaving it resting up-against the alternator belt, which of course tore through it, found this out driving back from a mates the other night with niagra falls pouring out the bottom of the car and the engine getting pretty hot. With some bodge jobbing, (gaffa taping the 2 massive holes) its sort of sealed it, but is still slightly leaking, so the whole hose is being replaced this week!

Anyway, got some pictures to show and some ideas to throw around. Rate/Hate etc.

Refurb/spray steelies (Black with white rim or Anthracite) & get some centre caps fitted.
De-wiper rear
New front numberplate
Sort Foglight out

Possible plans:
Gloss black roof
Possible lowering 50mm front and rear.

So, got given a load of carbon wrap stuff. Its a pain in the arse to do but gave it a crack on a couple of little bits;

So, after using it for the summer, the saxos now been sold and drove of this evening with its new owner.

Been offered a 1.4 207 which i'm tempted with but i'm also liking the look of a C2 vts
