STILL has a lumpy idle.. all sensors checked nothing came back as anything that would cause a problem.. replaced plugs and changed the coil pack 3 times with 3 different ones, headgasket was done 2000miles ago, Compression tested Cylinder one was 200, Cylinder two was 200, Cylinder three was 200 and Cylinder four was 190, Had a leak down test a tiny bit got past the rings but nothing major, have been told the engine breaths slightly heavier than normal, didnt pass an emissions test, put some fuel injector cleaner through the system seems to of helped abit, changed the fuel filter today tipped the old one into a bucket black shite and rocks came out of it haha.. whats going on? loosing my mind ;) Cheers!

What, running lumpy on idle? sort of popping from exhaust?, it stops as soon as its revved too as little as 1100rpm haha, pisses me off that its only on idle and is extremely hard too find the problem!

Nothing at all :(

That is so weird, not really much left to check/change as it sounds like you've changed major components :/

Is it a Furio? If so VTR lump it, the difference between the two engines is noticable haha

Cars decide to break when you can't afford to mend them :/

Not good mate :( It's annoying as you can never trust your car when it endlessly breaks down!

Yeahh i think vtr lump is going to be the way forward for me soon :) Plug and play with a new ECU :)

That would be the most simple conversion.... If you wanted to push the boat out you could get a 16v engine ;)

I cant be bothered with all the loom changing, if i wanted a vts i'd just get one :) vtr is easy ;)

Had this problem on my corsa b, turned out it was a split in a breather pipe,
Worth taking a look

ECU is the only plausible thing that could still be causing this problem after changing/checking all the other sensors and cylinders. Do you have an erratic idle or is it just really weak?

Yeahh i think vtr lump is going to be the way forward for me soon :) Plug and play with a new ECU :)

if your going to convert you may as well stick a 16v in. its no more work than the 8v

you would be taking the loom out anyway to swap the engines?

Its just like lumpy :) car feels like I'm sat in a trractor occasionally, and you can use the 1.4 loom with a vtr engine if I am correct :)

Mines similar it juddered when crusing for example 30mph in 4th gear it will judder until I add a it of throttle and speed up given up on it and just got use to it cause nothing will sort it lol
