Okay, so I've had my 1.1 for roughly about a year, and I've only had to top up the coolant in the radiator once or twice, it doesn't seem to drop at all any more.
I'm less than a novice with mechanics, but I believe it should be drinking a little more than nothing, right?

If anything that's good, aslong as all your heaters blow hot, the car doesn't overheat and there's no other signs of headgasket failure then you're fine :)

Thats perfectly normal. Just change it after a year or so as it can get gunked up with crap on its way around.

Should you also bleed the system every so often or only at post coolant change intervals?

Bleed it everytime you change the coolant. Unless you think you have a air in the system ofc.
