Oil Change Advice

Looking at doing an oil change and have got a full bottle of Castrol GTX 15w-40 Part Synthetic.

Is this ok to use on a Vtr??

not ideal but probably would be okay but dont hold me to it, aha. Either 5w40 or 10w40 part synthetic is the reccommendation so yours seems a bit thick

Usually using oil too thick would give you problems starting on cold mornings but if its just a short term measure you should be ok as its coming into summer. I would recommend getting the correct oil spec'd by Citroen to be safe though

i work in a garage and usually its 10w/40 you use in saxos mate

5w40 and 10w40, 15s a bit thick but a popular grade for diesels, cant you sell it to a mate/give it away?
