In a show and shine/show comp the GTR doesn't stand a chance while on a quater mile or track..yes the GTR will destroy but that's not the point.

But the anount of work that has gone into Wassys hulk is far more than the GTR.

In a show and shine the amount of work that's gone into Wassys is a hell of a lot more custom work and then finish looks better.

As for the judging you're compairing a track car against a one off custom.

I know i wouldnt pay the lightest bit of attention to ANY saxo next to that beast.

That is a much more impressive build than Wassys saxo 1200 bhp ffs!

I do however think Wassys is good.

I know a couple of the guys who work on this car, and I seriously doubt there is a car in Britain which has had more time, money and effort put into it

Just for anyone that's interested, it does 1/4 mile in 8.1 seconds and did 30-140 in 3 1/2 seconds!!!

yeah its a bit wrong to compare 2 cars in completely different leagues.

however am i the only one who thinks that gtr looks gash and a standard one looks better?
them wheels/bonnet/rear arches and even the colour all looks awful. The engine is quite impressive though

I'm glad you posted this as it saves me doing it.

Anyone that thinks a "custom Saxo" has had more time and effort put into it than a proper race car is deluded. They've been building that GTR every day for years.
