Anyone else have family they dislike?

Hi all, sorry yet another boring thread by myself, but just curious.

Anyone else have a certain 'side' to their family they just don't get on with? In my case it starts with my dad, and that whole side of the family. I have an older brother, haven't seen or spoken to him for at least 6 years, and suddenly see him on tv for sport relief.

Just brought up all the old emotions. Hate, annoyance, frustration. I won't bore people with the family story. But yes I regard myself as a single child to be perfectly honest, and well fatherless.

Cool story, say what you wish. I've set myself up for some shockers.

Not got any grudges myself but my 17yr old sister and my/her Mum haven't spoken for over a year now, and I'm stuck in the middle trying to stay neutral

I don't get on with any of my cousins on my mums side except for one, didn't even get an invite to one of my cousins wedding.

I cant be in the same room with my sister for more than 10 minutes before we start arguing.

Never have any real problems with my family its something i dont understand as we have a huge one and its very close. Feel bad for you though couldnt imagine that myself.

My mum and I didn't speak for over 2 years, now we get on well, I still have the ability to piss her off to the point of leaving a room/building though just because of certain beliefs I hold which she disagrees with. However I try not to let them out around her no point arguing and feuding with the only mother I'll ever have.

But seriously ive had like 4/5yrs of it. Its just my dad that doesnt like her, rest of the family think shes fine. Hes has the odd word when she walks past him sometimes i feel like chinning him. Hes a cunt at times ah well. But life goes on.

same with me mate, I can't stand my dads wife she cant stand me, so we just ignore each other, wish it hadnt affected my relationship with my dad though, i hardly see him and he only lives 4 miles away.

yup same here. my dad acts different round me when she's not there it's actually ridiculous. I'm like " man up. " I wish it didn't affect the relationship with me n him but it does unfortunately. Hes not a bad bloke, just made mistakes and she is one if them. I live with mum who, in some ways has been my mum and dad lol.

I've only had it for 7 months at the moment, he's such a bellend though, he acts gay all the time, whistles to himself, i'm sure he's not there mentally lol

But i don't care, im happy with her :D

I dont personaly but my 2 brothers (completely opposite in most ways) just dont get on, at all. Its weird either 1 of them have to make a nasty comment out of nowere for no reason lol its like WHY???? lol

I just laugh or punch 1 of them to shut them up.
