Howdy!

Anyone know a fairly cheap place to refurb my rear beam on the vts? I'd have ago my self but I'm not that mechanically minded

Or if there's someone on here whos capable of doing it that would be better!

Any help much appreciated. Cheers, joe

If you want cheap you'll need to source a second hand beam, but there's no saying how long that will last, if you are intending on keeping the car a while you would be better off speaking to these guys http://www.imaxle.co.uk/ . They are known as pretty well one of the best companys for rear beams, and if you search on here you can get a slight discount for being a sax-p member. :y:

Yea ok my friend, thank you very much. Just checked there site out.

I'm in two minds whether to keep the car or not but would still want the issue sorted either way

What do you think the better/cheaper option would be... To buy a refurbed beam straight from them or send my current one up for reconditioning?

I'm pretty sure they knock some money off if you send your beam back to them, so they send you the new one, you fit it, send your old one back so they can re-furbish it for someone else. I'd do it that way.

I used IM axles last year and the service from them was awesome. They also give you £50 for your old axle.
