Just went up town today, to replace my standard mk1 saxo front speakers with some 5" inphase. Obviously the connector wont fit, so i chopped it off and linked up the wires from the new speakers to the old speakers. For some reason i cannot get any sound from either side? The original reason for changing was that the passenger side had decided not to work. Anyhow, i tested the passenger speaker in the working driverside socket and it worked, but now neither side works with the new speakers?! Whats going on, do i need to replace all the wiring? The back speakers are fine :|
Maybe the connector has come out of the back of the headunit but i doubt it...?
Any help much appriciated.
