Wrynose Pass in the lakes is nice. Hardknott pass? I think is also very nice there! Another nice one I can think of is the road between Great Broughton and Helmsley, the B1257. Erm, think there is a few roads that branch off from the A171 on the way from Guisborough to Whitby, Smearthorns Road I think it is, that's alright. Like if you head towards Castleton and those villages over there. Very scenic with nice views, not so great for driving fast/twisties, anyone sensible would take it easy due to the sheep etc.

Out of the whole forum, you try the hardest to get a laugh, and yet must be the most unwitty person around...

A701, Edinburgh - Moffat is upic.
There's a bit called 9 mile burn, on which there is about a 1.5 - 2 mile strectch of straight road, with the Pentland Hills on one side and the Midlothian countryside on the other.
And then you hit the Devil's Beeftub further down it :y:

There's a road near me from Bridgnorth to clee hills. There's a few ways round this ones the shortest but it's a B road do easier to go te long way round. Not sure of the road name though.
It's a bumpy B road with a few 120+ straights depending on your balls and lots of sub 40 mph corners too as well as a few long sweepers. Pretty good Tarmac and nice elevation changes. Very bumpy but it all adds to it making you choose a different line to normal. Used to be NSL all the way through but recently there's a few bits dropped to 30/40 :(. Excellent on a bike but a little more tricky in a car as there's no room for error as its not too wide and the overtaking spots are sparce but obviously on a bike you need a much smaller gap to make an overtake and you can see more too.
Best is following someone who uses it daily as its on of those where it's hard to follow where it goes next lol.
Was a big fan of the cat and fiddle till it got the average cameras, not been since.
