Hi guys

Received my GTi brakes, going to give them a clean up

I have the disc, pads and caliper all ready, it also has a pipe coming off the back of each caliper, is this a direct fit on my 1.1 or do I need to buy new brake lines?

I think I need to buy the 2 bolts for each caliper that will be about £10 but is there anything else I need to fit GTi brakes on a 1.1?

Also, is it a hard task to complete? Should I attempt it myself or get a garage to do it?

Unless i have missed something ,
1,1 are 3 stud and 106gti or 306Gti ( doesnt say which ones you got ) are 4 stud so i think you might have a small problem.

you wont even need to use the pipes that came with the calipers mate. just loosen them from your old calipers and screw them into the new ones. you will need to twist the caliper round, as the flexi pipe will only twist a little. as in screw the caliper onto the pipe, not the pipe onto the caliper. sorry not good at explaining things but you will understand when you go to do it. the only other thing you will need is the 4 bolts that secure them to the struts as you said. citroen do two for £7. pretty sure its the same from ebay. i got mine from a scrappy and just put some threadlock on them. imo its a nice and easy job mate but you will have to bleed them when your finished so maybe get a friend round to help. be careful when loosening the bleed nipples as they sheer off very easy. maybe take them out and put some copper grease on them for the future. take your time and you wont have any problems
