Insurance on my VTR is killing me seen as I was only an added driver on my step dads car before I bought it off him.
(Was only using it to get to work and back on the weekend and insurance knew about this before the saxpolice get on my case)
Seen as I've been medically discharged and haven't got 6 grand to insure the VTR for a year, I need something comfortable and cheap to insure to build up some no claims!

Seen these:

1.4 can get insured for 1700 a year which is cheaper than a new shape 1.2l corsa!

Anybody own one of these? Or know anything about them?

Thanks! :y:

And I prefer the interior to one of these to a new shape clio!
Unless its the tomtom version

Why buy a near enough brand new car just to get you back and forth and build up no claims??

Surely could get something alot nicer, with maybe a slightly higher insurance premium, but for alot less money.

is that x3 and s3 touching?

ugly cars though, surely something more appealing to insure than that? especially on 3-4k budget.

move away from the bandwagon - which no doubt people are going to start quoting now... and insurance wont be an issue. your street cred may not be as cool!

but who gives a fuck?

Citroen c1, yes they are gay as f*ck and they have less street cred and less go in them than a 49cc scooter, but they tick all the boxes your after
