Just changing over brake calipers used ones cos I'm not rich and can't afford new ones, problem I'm having one side I can't get the hose off and am ganna need to replace can any one supply me with correct part from euro car parts
Another problem I'm really worried that replacing the rear brakes isn't going to improve performance as at the moment it takes me for ever to stop and I'm close to selling the saxo, what other things couldn't be causing the poor brake performance servos are ok disc and pads are ok it's to the point I'll be going 50 and will take 100 cards to actually slow it's really dangerouse and just all around shit
Any help appreciated please thank you

are you changing to standard calipers or a better setup
as for rear brakes it could be a number off things. do they need bleeding? have you got something like wd40 on the disk? are the calipers seized? or couild it be just due to the fact that your front brakes are appauling (hence for changing them). after all your front brakes do most of the braking

Just bleed them, why do you need to change the lines if they dont have holes in or arent squashed flat?

Why are you changing the calipers anyway, unless there is an issue??

If the brake pipe is seized the caliper you'll have to cut it off, try a socket on the union if you are keeping the caliper, if not fit the new one but you'll have to run a new a new brake line which isnt too difficult if you have a flaring tool and some unions/copper brake pipe

I had this issue on my rear caliper, on the pas side, a new pipe was about £8 from citroen
saw the pipe close to the nut, then get it off with a socket once you have the caliper off
