Audi TT - Hairdressers Car?

Two work mates are currently at each others throat over a Audi TT we spotted.
One says it's a smart coupé with good performance ... the other is sticking with the opinion of it being an outright hairdresser car :homme:
Me - I don't care, enough TT's on the road for me to not really notice or care.
A few cars get tagged with hairdressers car ect, but would you consider the same for the TT?

mk1 tt's are as camp as anything. A bit like a man with a handbag. Look a bit gash aswell

mk2's look pretty cool though

you should change the poll to split mk1's and 2's ;)

I think the mk1's are a bit colour dependant, like some other types of cars slapped with the 'hairdresser' tag.

Personally prefer the mk2's though and the RS version is just in a different league. Id happily be buried sat on one of those seats

I used to think mk1 looked ugly and camp but now its really growing on me although I wouldnt buy one myself. Yours looks really nice :y:

Old shape is a bit feminine but can be made look a lot better.

A couple of my mates have the TTRS. Mapped and exhaust and they're kicking out around 430bhp, and I have seen these things outrun stock Nissan GTR's and 996 Turbos.

I wouldn't even dare try it in my 430bhp GTO, those bloody Audis just get their power down so damn well plus they're quite light, it's unreal.

So muchos respect to TT's for me.

One of my mate's TTRS, he is now getting it re-built with a big turbo forged engine. Madness.

i guess thats a cr170 (diesal) they pack hell of a punch! great for a derv engine, but not amazing on MPG, though will still see 45+ mpg

should see what they are like with the 200,240 or 260 petrol engine :A: a new level of fun!

I was on the fence with the TT, but now see why they are such a popular car.
Interior was brilliant too! For a car that was made in what 2006? The interior is still modern looking :y:
