Which Corsa...?

My mate had an original Mini as his first car. All of us loved our first cars but you can just tell no one loved theirs quite as much as him.

Awesome to drive, they can't physically go too fast and they handle like a go kart. Plus the cool factor, of course.

My other mate had a Corsa C as his second car and it was pretty much a money pit, piece of crap car. Oh and on the way to MK on the M1 his sisters Seicento (sp?) was pulling away.

Mini for the fun factor.

They're not that safe in a crash mind.

I'd pass on any corsa up to the new shape Vxr tbh.

minis are definitely much more fun
can be unsafe in a crash but my cousin crashed hers into another car with me as passenger, both cars were written off but the only injurys we got were broken toes and whiplash.
corsas are just rank, horrible to look at and horrible to drive

Mini by a mile. I really really want one but I don't think I can be arsed with the rot. I can go for up to six weeks at a time without a day spare and with a car that's going rotten it's probably not good :/

The mini will probably sell for the money you paid for it, or even more too. The only corsa worth owning is one with an engine conversion or the vxr

Corsa. Yes there rubbish and chav but its a newer car thatll be carrying a lot less rust, be more reliable and be nicer to drive in the way of comforts..

I reckon what it is in realitly is she wants a corsa and you want her to buy a mini as it was the car you really wanted a 17.

I drove a mini briefly a few months back. Brilliant fun but would get tiring on a run.

I love that on saxp when a saxo breaks it's just been poorly maintained, yet when a corsa breaks it's because it's shit.

Irony.

I bet if you go on a corsa website it'd be the opposite lol.

This is a silly thread, who'd want a corsa over a classic mini?

I'd pass up a lot of nice cars for a clean classic mini

old corsas are cheap as chips to insure.

Mini for the lols and the potential classic status, but if she does crash it you will be single again, thats how tinny they are.

It would have to be a mint cool old school mini like with a union jack on the roof in red or something.

If it's a shitter fuck that for a laugh! Only Corsa I like is the VXR obviously, but I'm not one for base models!

Minis are nice but just not good for modern motoring.

She's a girl so just get her a corsa, I doubt she's going to come up to you and complain about the lack of feeling through the steering or any other shit I would moan about in a car.

My mini was my first car, and it was my daily for a year, but it does get uncomfortable to drive, and was very cold in the winter, and began to rot bcause of that horrible winter the other year, but I wouldn't of changed a thing, you get a huge grin factor from these little cars, and people wave at you as you drive by.I think every person should atleast drive a mini at one point in their life :) I'd recommend it over the corsa any day.

Mini every day.
But it depends what she wants, the corsa will be more reliable, no doubt. And warmer.
Just ask her, does she want to look cool? :P

Depends what you both want in a car! If safety is a big factor, the corsa, if fun is a big factor, the mini.

If she's going to be doing a lot of driving, any long distances etc, don't get the mini. I'd be worried about her crashing in it.

I still wouldn't have a corsa though. Get something else?
