wobbly wheel but what is causing it?

i think its most likely a knackered hub.



went out last night with my mates and one of them told me my front passenger wheel was wobbling.



so this morning in true trouble shooting fashion i went out and swapped the two wheels over back to front etc. but this didn't cure anything.



the front wheel still wobbles. am also getting clattering noises from the brakes, does not make very nice noise when i go to brake.



jacked the car up and wobbled the wheel to see if there was any play. there wasn't.



now totally mistified.

try checking all the suspension bolts as some only move slightly under load but gives you a bigger feeling of movement when driving. i had this then a shock fell off

might be a loose hubcap!!!!

gives the impression the wheel is wobbly!!!
