I've bought this Quiksteel from Demon Tweeks because my exhaust is blowing. No holes in it, just at the joints where it's bolted together. It's annoyed me for a while & I have used gaskets which didn't really work. Would this putty be a good choice or can anybody else recommend a solution/different product?

Have used it before, its reasonably good, but it will stick it all together pretty solid! Might be a problem if you need to separate it at any point? I would just get a tube of decent exhaust paste from the local motor factors? Always works for me and everyone else i know.

OK cheers. I'm going to have to separate the decat at some point for the MOT so i'll have a look in Halfords for a paste tomorrow.

I'll use some of this at the backbox joint if need be. I think that particular joint is OK tho, just blows at the front!

I used it before. Wasnt very good. It might be better to get a new exhaust, get it welded up, or buy a welder and weld it yourself.
