rear axle

Hi guys i have a 1.0L rear drum 3 stud saxo and was wondering whether a 4 stud rear disc axle (with no ABS) would just be a straight swap? a thread would be great as cant find any :/

Or would it just be easier to do a drum to drum swap 3 to 4 stud?

a drum to drum swap would be a straight swap.
drum to disc beam will require new brake lines and handbrake cable i think

on a drum to drum would i have to change the whole axle or would it be as simple as just removing 3 stud drum nuts poppin them off putting 4 stud drums on then put the bolt back on? sorry if im being stupid here?

i think you have to swap the whole beam

ok mate any ideas on what i would need to do on chaging the front? would it just be changing the front struts? any threads on thiS?

you can't just do a drum swap. you would need to knock the pins out and change them aswell

ok looks like im just going to change the whole rear beam much involved in doing that? also what the process on changing the front struts?
