I've had a search and i can't seem to find anything. All i basically want to know is what does a quickshift do? I've heard people talk about getting them and seeing them for sale, i'm just unsure of what they do.

They basically extend or shorten the length from the end of a rod to the pivot point. Either on a rod, or by changing where the gearstick pivots. This means that there will be less movement at the gearstick for the same amount of movement at the gearbox, making it a quicker change in theory!
Depending on which type you get, some just shorten the front to back throw of the stick, and others also shorten the left to right movement.

Ah that makes sense. I thought it'd be something to do with the speed of gear changes. Thanks.
