Rear debadge query!!!!

Right so to start I had no intention of debadging my motor but due to some dirtbags I now have a slight I presume screwdriver mark on my boot where my badges were. Not sure what they were trying to achieve but they did succeed in snapping the c off the Citroen badge so I decided to take them all off. But now I'm left with the task of blending it into the boot. I've sealed the holes from the back to stop water getting in for now. But obviously I can't just leave it like it, as from a far it dont look bad but up close it's shocking. Is there any del boy of doing it to a better standard oooorr am i going to have to fork out for a painter to fill it and respray??thanks for any decent input

could just pick up a replacement boot in the same colour off here or ebay. Would be like £40 or less, rather than a £100 sprayjob

I did the job myself, took long, effort and that, but didn't turn out too shabby in the end.

To get the boot looking good then its a job for the pro`s mate IE a bodyshop.

Do it yourself.. Fiberglass the back if you don't have access to a welder, fill them, sand down and spray, you get a decent finish with a can but I went with a gun after.. :)

Or superglue 2p's over the holes :P. Worked for me and 2 years later, they never fell off or cracked, still going strong.

Well I thought that, buy some filler, rub down then spray but wasn't sure what the finish would be like. Think I could get hold of a gun so thanks for the info! :P

Tbh mate the finish is quite decent with a can, mine had a few light lines so I re-done it

Well my best guess would be to do a few light layers instead of blasting it? You know of a make which would match my colour?

I just went with halfords, the paint in a can will never match exactly what's on your car because the can has a laquer mixed in already to give it a shelf life, so it might turn out a tad bit darker :)
