Boot with badges or without?

Basically there are no badges on the boot of my car, but the holes are still there. What are every ones opinions on having them or not?

either weld up the holes and smooth it off (which looks better than standard)
or put the badges back on

having holes on your boot looks extremely shit

pends on the look your going for. i have totally debadged my whole car barr the vtr on the doors i prefere the look but also agree smooth the boot totally and have a 106 bumper recess, done well looks the mutts nuts

well i've had a closer look and the last owner has just pulled off the badges and left the holes there. So i ether need to fill them or get new badges.
